July 24th the morning of the surgery

I made it through the morning without eating. Even though I tried to convince them to feed a hotdog through my IV for some unkown reason they refused:) I enjoyed my morning at Darrell and Lisa's house. I played chess with my dad and played with my new little friend Adam, Darrell and Lisa's 18month old son. Now I am just sitting around waiting for my surgery. I am trying to pass time by watching the cartoon network. Please pray for me and Dr Jallo today as the surgery is going on and as I recover. The posts are on West time zone add 3 hrs. to get correct time.

Seth,

I can't understand why a hot dog could not go through the IV either :-) You have been on my mind and in my prays all morning. You are not alone on this journey! May the peace of God that transcends all understanding be with you! I am eager to see what you write for your next blog entry!

Seth,

Maybe a hot dog is too big for the IV. French fries and a milkshake might work better. We're thinking about you and praying for you. Love ya!

Seth,
My hopes and prayers are with you today. God is with you through your times of struggle, so he will be with you today through your surgery. I hope that you can have your hotdog at some point today.

Seth,

Praying all is going well with your surgery. You are a inspiration to all of us. Your attitude and sense of humor is awesome, keep it up we love your blog. You certainly are not alone there are many prayers going up for you all over the world. We had your Mom and Dad in the youth group. We know you have awesome parents standing with you. What a testimony you will have to share with your friends of God's miracle in your life

Seth-
Hope all went well with the surgery. We are eager to hear from your mom and dad how you are doing. You will continue to be in our prayers, and maybe when you come home, my mom can bring you a hot dog. Your friend,

Seth & the Good Family - You have been in my prayers throughout the day. We're just a few blocks up from you if you need anything (the Masts have our #). We're all too familiar with Hopkins and the PICU -- we also know you're in great hands! You will continue to be in my prayers.
