Seth's pain seems to be more bearable. He was complaining a lot about neck pain and pain in the back of his head. His nurse took good care of him tonight and got his pain medication under control. Seth also insisted on getting out of bed this evening. But when he did get out of bed Seth did not think it was all it was cut out to be. The nausea medication seems to be working. We are hoping he will be able to eat tomorrow. We asked him what he would like to be doing and he told us he would rather be climbing trees:) This is not very much fun for Seth but he has not been complaining. We will be meeting our new Dr tomorrow morning. Thank you to everyone for praying for our family, Todd, Seth and me in the hospital and Shane Sarah and Laura as they are with relatives. We love to read the blog commits they reassure us that we are not alone!!
We love all of you very much!!! We will try to post more photos soon:)

Another day finished. This healing process is not fun, but it's another day closer to climbing those trees!! Ya! You're a real trouper and you'll be back on your feet soon.
For Mom & Dad, our day in Philadelphia went great. Lots of work, play and fun in the (hot) sun. Hopefully our flowers we planted will last for the neighbors to enjoy for at least a little while. Hubie said they have a tendency to 'walk'.
Have a peaceful night's sleep to all!
Love,
Brian & Janet

Seth-
I was glad to hear that your pain is getting a little better. I hope today you will be able to eat. I found out that Dr Carson is a famous brain surgeon who wrote a book called "Gifted Hands" and is a Christian. You are definitely in good hands. We will continue to pray for you-stay strong!

Seth, It is good to hear that they have got your pain medicine working. That is one of the hardest parts of having surgery next to not feeling like eating. Oliver was able to eat a little after 24 hours and the pain was under control. He doesn't remember much about it now. I sure do. I pray that you will be able to have some breakfast this morning and that your pain will be well controlled today.
Hi Seth! Glad to hear you are on the road to recovery!
Todd and Marie--please let me know if there is anything I can do for you!
Love,
Mrs. Schofield
