Happy New Years!! It has been 2 days since Seth's last chemo treatment and so far he is not experiencing any side effects. He was even able to go to our youth group's New Years Eve party. Even though Seth is not able to run and jump he still had fun joining in and playing the games. He gets right into the game and makes the best of it. That inspires me to see his attitude on life. Continue to pray for his weight gain. Seth lost 1/2 pound this past week. If he does not gain any weight in the next 3 weeks they are going to seriously look into the feeding tube.

Hello Good's,
It was good to read about Seth having some fun with friends during the holidays. Nice brake! We'll continue to pray for weight gain and good appetite. Whenever we pass your house, it's with a prayer for all. We care about you.

Hi Seth,
You are doing great in you chemo! Let me give you some hints about gaining some weight. Eat a lot of ice cream, baked potatoes with butter go down good too. Also tell your Mom to add 1 tsp of olive oil to everything you eat. lots of good calories there, and you can't taste it. Also try eating something every hour and a half, that is what I did while I went through chemo and radiation. Actually that's what I do now, just to maintain my weight. Whole grain pasta is another good one, gives you protein too. That's it for now.
Have fun in the new year, even in the hospital!
In His love,
Andrea Ansel
Your Grandma Miller's friend.
