Febuary 9th

Well we are in the hospital for the start of Seth's 3rd chemo session. Seth will be hospitalized till Wednesday. Pray that his body will handle this dose of chemo well. His 12th birthday is this Sunday and he does not want to be sick for it. This birthday will be a special one because without all of these treatments he would not have been here to celebrate turning 12. Lately Seth has realized that he is able to do a little more then he thought he could. He and I rode bike a little and when we got home Seth had a smile on his face that reached ear to ear. He might not be able to run this summer but he will be able to ride bike short distances and that realization meant the world to him. He also had fun sledding with his cousins. But Seth found out that rollerskating is going to have to wait till after chemo. Seth was determined to try rollerskating at our church skating party but due to his "foot drop" fell over 20 times in a 15 minute period. Even though Seth was extremely disappointed he still came home with a smile. I thought he might be physically weak but his "heart" is very strong. Continue to pray for health for our entire family so far no one has gotten sick this winter.

Hi, Seth!
We're praying that you breeze through this chemo like you did before. Hope you and Mommy have fun playing all those cool games in the hospital. Your smile is so amazing. I want to smile when I see your smile. We're looking forward to your return home and your birthday on Sunday.
Love,

Seth,
You are amazing. I know this birthday is especially special to all of us. Bryce just had his 12th birthday and I know that we will be rejoicing with you and your family this Sunday. I will never forget those first years we all spent together. Watching you grow has been fun! So will watching you grow the next 12! WE are excited for the 27th and the 28th to celebrate all of the Feb birthdays. WE LOVE YOU!

Hang in there Seth, your doing a great job. Remember this seems really long and you don't want to do this but before you know it it will be all over and you'll be getting your strength back. God has a wonderful plan for your life. We are praying for you that this round will go smoothly. Have a wonderful 12th birthday.

Hi Seth,
February Birthdays are the best! We'll just keep that a secret from all the other folks who have to have their birthdays in the other 11 months... February isn't big enough for all of them to join us!! Seth we're praying for you! You were so brave giving it a 'go' rollerskating. I didn't see you on the floor once. Thanks for coming! We love having you around hanging out!

Hey Seth!
Happy Birthday! We are praying that you are recovering quickly. I am so glad that the bike riding went well. How exciting! Biking is so fun because you get to take in the same awesome views that you see while walking, but you see them a lot faster.Hope your birthday is as much fun as a double scoop of chocolate PB ice cream on a waffle cone at the beach!
