August 5

Today we met with the oncologists at Johns Hopkins to find out what Seth's next step will be. Seth will need to get a spinal tap to see if there are any cells in his brain or spine that would form tumors. He will then have a port put in to his artery so they will be able to give chemo without all the injections. Then he starts radiation. Radiation will be 6 weeks long and we will have to travel to Baltimore every day Monday through Friday. Seth then has 4 weeks off till he starts chemo treatments. There will be 9 chemo treatments each treatment 3-4 weeks apart. He will have to stay in the hospital for 2-4 days during each chemo treatment. We were told by the oncologist that after all of the radiation and chemo he expects Seth to be cured. Those are sweet words to our ears! Seth found out today that he will probably lose his hair:( But I thought wouldn't it be cool if God let him keep that. So I will be praying about that and would love if you join me. We posted pictures of Seth and his doctors. One is Seth with Dr Jallo his surgeon and the other is Seth with Dr. Cohan and Dr. Baxbaum the oncologists. Please pray for our family during this time. God has been so faithful. We dealt with a lot of emotions during the past 2 1/2 weeks but each time we feel like this is too much handle God just wraps his arms around us and gives us the strength to keep going:)

Many people have been asking if the tumor that was removed from Seth's brain " is it cancer?". The answer is yes it was cancer. The good news is the type of medulloblastoma it was, and with the correct treatment the cure rate is very high.

Seth,
You look so cool. Every day you look more and more like your old self.
Sounds like you're in for a long adventure. Maybe you should write a book about it. You always were good at writing stories.
We love you MUCHO and know God does too.

Hi Guys,
You are never far from our thoughts and prayers. Can't imagine all that you are going through. I do know that God will be with you. I believe in Joshua 1:5-6 for you.
"No one will be able to stand up against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.
6 "Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them. 7 Be strong and very courageous."

Seth, Be strong and Very courageous God is with you!!!
Blessings,
Rob, Beth, & boys

Hi from Ontario, Canada. We at Livingstones have been praying for you.
Our Oliver had Cancer as a baby and yes the chemo will cause loss of hair, but it all grows back. We know that it will feel like a long journey for the next few months so we will be praying for you.
As Mom get as much rest between hospital visits. God is good and will give you the strength you need as you need it.
Seth get a real cool hat to wear for the next few months. This time next year you will never know you lost your hair for a few months.
Take care, God bless you all.

You know, I agree that God cares about the little things. Greg and I will definitely be praying that Seth can keep his hair. As one in the medical profession all signs point to hair loss, however, we also work for an even bigger physician with more power and authority than anyone here on this earth. God can do great things, and again he cares about the small stuff (and not so small stuff to some such as Seth desiring to keep his hair). We believe in miracles and we will pray for one.
Blessings of peace, hope, and joy to you all. Love Steph and Greg.

Hey Seth,

If all is going as planned, I guess you're camping right now. We will continue to pray for all of you. Take one day at a time. Our God is incredible and he will walk with you. Try not to worry ahead of time - God gives us the strength we need exactly when we need it. You'll make it!
