Seth had wish granters from Make a Wish Foundation visited him at our house tonight. He was given the opportunity to make a wish, any wish he wanted. They will then try to grant him that wish. Seth's number one wish is to ride (really fast) in a NASCAR race car. Sounds like fun doesn't it? What a wonderful organization to give the kids who are going through so much pain and suffering a reason to hope and a goal to look forward to. Seth is doing about the same today as he was the other day, very tired. His stomach is starting to give him problems again. The chemo that he gets on Friday is not nice to the digestive system. He had his 22nd radiation treatment today which means we are finally in the single digits... only 9 more to go!! That will end phase one. Seth seems to be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Pray he continues to have the strength to get out of bed and face another day at the hospital. And also please remember our other children (Shane, Sarah and Laura) in your prayers as they are being effected too. My prayer is that our family will walk this journey hand in hand and at the end will be closer and stronger then before the cancer was part of our lives.

Just a note to let you know we are so excited for Seth and his countdown from 9 days now....You are a trooper, Seth. Hey, Seth, I will be watching to see a photo of you in that race car, how exciting!

You didn't inherit that love of speed from me, but I'm delighted you can do what makes you happy. What makes me happy is knowing we can celebrate that final radiation day soon. Even better will be the day you're completely finished with all treatments and are completely well again. There's a verse in the Bible, I'm counting on for you: The Lord will sustain him on his sick bed and restore him from his bed of illness.

I am so glad to here you are doing better! Nascar?:) Well we all have different dreams. I think it is soo cool you get to make a wish like that. It is wonderful the prayer you have. It's great to have God on our side. Wouldn't want you to do it without him. Tell Sara, Blake and Alyysa said hello!

You guys are a strong family and right now nothing will stop you guys. Just think that Seth is in that Nascar screaming down that straightaway heading to ring that bell while the crowd is going crazy. That finish line is right in front of your eyes. The prayers will keep coming from everyone.
