August 9
Seth, Shane and Todd went on a father son camping night. It was good to have something to take Seth's mind off of everything. Seth is still tired and he started to get his headaches like he had before the surgery. The doctors think it is from the steroids that he is being weaned off of. We have an appointment to have the port line put in on Monday August 18th. This is an out patient surgery. He will also have his spinal tap done at the same time to see if there are anymore tumor cells in his brain or spine. We will then start his radiation treatments shortly after that. Please pray for Seth he seems to be down in the dumps and frustrated with the headaches and occasional vomiting. You can also pray for favor as we talk to the school district about what Seth's schooling will look like this year. We can not say thank you enough for all your prayers! We know your prayers have been carrying our family through this journey.

I have been following Seth's progress and giving good thoughts and prayers to Seth's on-going ordeal. Please do not worry about Seth's education this year. I will certainly volunteer to come to your house and keep Seth up on his 6th grade studies. I know the district will work with you and please don't hesitate to tell them I am willing to help out.
Seth, you've been very brave. Just keep that great smile of yours,
Mrs. Prough
I'm sure you'll want to stay at home whenever you can, but please feel free to let us know if you need a place to stay during any of your Baltimore visits.
Best wishes for a continued recovery.

Seth-
I rush to my computer every day to get an update. I'm sorry your down in the dumps and the headaches remain, but we will continue to pray for you diligently. It is nice to hear that you and Shane and Dad had a guys get away. Remember to keep smiling and think about all the people who care and are praying for you.
