We met with the surgeon who will be putting in Seth's port on Monday. After that meeting we headed upstairs to meet with the oncology drs to sign consent forms. They spent 2 hrs telling us all of the bad side effects that can happen to Seth during the time on radiation and chemo. You can only imagine how we felt as parents to hear all of that. It was devastating!! We were told that he will probably lose his hair, lose some of his hearing, blood tranfusions, have learning disabilities, sickness, blisters down his throat and the list goes on. We are asking you to pray with us that there will not be any lasting side effects or even better that he will be able breeze through these treatments. We know that prayer makes a difference!! We know that God is bigger then cancer!!!! We are claiming scripture because we know that the Word of God is powerful! Psalms 91 and Jeremiah 29:11 are two you can read and claim with us.

Mrs. Schofield & Elise
Seth,
Our family continues to pray for you each night (including our children who are 7, 4 and 2) I am going to give an update to our Jr High boys youth cell on Wednesday and we will pray for you there as well. We believe that the prayers of the saints will be answered by our God. Grace, Grace, Grace to you and your family.
Todd, Marie, Seth and family,
We are thinking and praying for you. God is our shelter, protector, deliverer and healer. We pray that God will heal you through any and all means that the world has, but we trust in Him as the perfect healer and pray to that end. That His touch on your body will be the perfect touch. Seth as hard as it is I pray that you can rest in Jesus arms and find comfort in Him. We love you all. BJ Longenecker
