July 25

Seth's pain seems to be more bearable. He was complaining a lot about neck pain and pain in the back of his head. His nurse took good care of him tonight and got his pain medication under control. Seth also insisted on getting out of bed this evening. But when he did get out of bed Seth did not think it was all it was cut out to be. The nausea medication seems to be working. We are hoping he will be able to eat tomorrow. We asked him what he would like to be doing and he told us he would rather be climbing trees:) This is not very much fun for Seth but he has not been complaining. We will be meeting our new Dr tomorrow morning. Thank you to everyone for praying for our family, Todd, Seth and me in the hospital and Shane Sarah and Laura as they are with relatives. We love to read the blog commits they reassure us that we are not alone!!
We love all of you very much!!! We will try to post more photos soon:)

16 hours after surgery..... Seth has been moved to a private room on the pediatric floor. Seth still seems to have a weak stomach. So until that goes away they will not let him eat or drink. Please pray about that he is really thirsty. We are meeting other families that are going through the same things as we are going through. We can relate so much together. Please join us in prayer for the family of a 3 year old little boy D.J. His parents just found out yesturday that D.J. has a golf ball size tumer in his brain and they are planning to operate on Monday.
We had shared with him all the people praying for Seth and let them know we would post it on Seth's Blog

11 hours after surgery..... Seth just had a have a CAT scan because of having a sick stomach. We just got back from that and Seth fell aspleep watching cartoons. Dr. Jallo, Seth's dr, will be out of town starting tomorrow. His new dr will be Dr. Ben Carson. Continue to pray for wisdom with the doctors. All the staff at John Hopkins is doing an awesome job! We are seeing postive process on Seth so that is good. Praise God!! He is complaining of neck pain but that is due to surgery. He does not have a headache (yaa!) Todd and I are trying to get sleep here and there. Todd is out in the truck sleeping right know and I slept a few hours in the waiting room (that was an experince.....)
