Seth received his second dose of chemo on Friday along with radiation. It was an exhausting day at the hospital. Seth seemed to be feeling better tonight he had enough energy to play a game with the family:) Please pray that he will NOT experience the side effects from the chemo. Last time he had it the side effects set in on the 3rd day. The doctors do not like the eye pain he had last week. The oncologist said it is probably from the chemo and the radiation doctors said it is probably from radiation..... Who knows..... we just know they do not like it and neither does Seth. So please remember to pray over that specific side effect. His white blood counts have come up, praise God, but his platlets have gone done. All in all they said they think Seth is doing good but Seth begs to differ with them. He would like to quit but he keeps on trucking along like a brave little guy. Seth was going to school for an hour a day but he got so exhausted we decided to pull him out of school for the duration of radiation. He has a home bound tutor coming to our house a couple of days a week. We will look at sending him back to school after radiation. People have asked how our other children are doing. They seem to be handling it well. Shane got the privilege of joining Seth and me in the hospital on Friday. So Shane was able to see what Seth have to do everyday and allows him to feel a part of Seth's life.
